About Me

My photo
Carol Schultz
My earlier career was in the banking industry in the Seattle area. Positions held include Manager of a check-processing department, Operations Support Analyst, Float Control Officer, Quality Control Specialist. I reported to the Cashier and responsibilities ranged from preparing annual budgets, streamlining procedures, and reviewing government regulations and documenting the impact for our 70+ branches. My career in banking came to an abrupt end when I resigned to care for a terminally ill parent. Our family moved to a small town where we raised chickens, goats, and embraced the self-sufficiency lifestyle. We chopped wood, planted gardens, canned, and bucked bales. Quite a change from our suburban upbringing. In this employment depressed area I have held a number of positions including real estate property management. So, if it sounds like I have had many varied experiences it is definitely true. I believe in embracing life every step of the way. Contact me directly at inthetrenches@live.com
